PEWTER OPTION
This Roman Coin pencil topper is made from lead-free pewter and is a casting of a Denarius of Julius Caesar on a topper base. It is supplied on a 13cm black wooden pencil with Roman numerals and their decimal equivalent values printed on it in silver.
The Denarius of Julius Caesar has the image of an elephant on the obverse and priestly objects on the reverse. The original would have been struck in 49 BC.
GOLD-PLATED OPTION
This Roman Coin pencil topper is made from lead-free pewter that is 22ct gold plated and is a casting of an Aureus of Augustus on a topper base. It is supplied on a 13cm black wooden pencil with Roman numerals and their decimal equivalent values printed on it in silver.
The aureus depicts the bust of Augustus and the inscription CAESAR on the obverse and a heifer with the inscription AVGVSTVS on the reverse. The original would have been struck circa 27 - 18BC.
