Socrates: Philosophy in Plato's Early Dialogues

Here is a contemporary philosophical analysis of the major views and arguments of the Platonic Socrates.

Professor Santas begins with an account of the philosopher and citizen, and looks in detail at Socrates' view and arguments in the Apology and the Crito concerning the obligation to obey the laws and the grounds for civil disobedience.

Some note making marks in the first chapter.
