A son embarks on a fanatical quest to uncover the story and the grave of his father, who 50 years ago, as a German occupation officer, was captured by Greek irregulars, executed, and declared missing. Through years of work, the author succeeds in completely reconstructing the events of that time. He also interviews the British, New Zealanders, Germans, and Greeks responsible, including the man who shot his father.
